Hot Take: Crypto, at First Glance is Weird
Take a look at any media covering the subject of cryptocurrency today. On one hand, you got a bunch of peeps providing insight and commentary on the scams and quick-money hustles by pre-teens with twenty bandos (lol), among others; and on the other hand you have those lucky few that turned $17 into millions over the span of a few weeks. However you look at it, the public face of cryptocurrency is bonkers.
So why is a food-themed website talking about it?
Minus the speculative nature of the whole thing, the idea behind blockchain and cryptocurrency implementations - decentralization, is fundamentally one of the most community-minded and democratic technical innovations since the dawn of the Information Age. Without going into the deep technical concepts that implement it, concepts such as information durability, consistency, and security make it a keystone as digital technologies evolve.
Introducing - Coinvfefe
Leaning into the positive qualities of cryptocurrency, we thought it would be cool to create and implement a digital trading mechanism that not only can be used in our ecosystem, but hopefully adopted by other platforms and creators as it grows. Additionally, memes have an element of entertainment to them and why not combine the two in the creation of something?
With that, we'd like to introduce Coinvfefe.
Partially inspired by an article we previously posted on the website, Coinvfefe will be a long-term project with the goal of creating a community of foodies, memelords, and anyone else interested in the stuff we cover on the site. As the intent will focus away from the short-term pump & dump patterns associated with memecoins, and instead set our sights toward long-term, organic community building.

So You're Probably Thinking, "Hmmm...Memecoins have Caught a Bad Reputation Lately, But I May or May Not Be Interested
We get it, there's a lot of complexity on many fronts when it comes to this stuff. Whether or not our community wants to engage with this part of the project, it won't degrade the overall experience; we'll continue to create content, and build out or food applications and tools regardless.
That said, if you're interested in getting into our token or simply want to support the project, even in a small or indirect way, there are many ways to do it!
- A portion of the site's AdSense revenue will be used to fund the token's underlying assets. So as users interact with the site, we'll re-invest into the token.
- Coinvfefe was originated on pump.fun (yeah, we know all the sus things going on over there, but the process was quick for how we wanted to start things). The page address is here, so if you're interested, have at it
- Though just about all of our content is publicly accessible with advertisements kept to a minimum, one-time or recurring contributions definitely help to keep the site up and running. As with other revenue, we'll re-invest a portion into the project.
As the project evolves, we'll do more with the tokens. In the meantime, stop by the site from time to time, read our content, take a quiz, use our apps, and let us know how we're doing!
